Recipes

I'm always trying to find amazing clean eating recipes that soothe my husband's hungry soul ;) haha! No, but seriously, my husband LOVES food (let's be real, so do I!)

This page is where I will post stuff I HAVE MADE! I refuse to promote things I haven't tried yet, unless I have good sources that it's delicious! So, as I experiment with clean eating, yummy recipes that fulfill a husband's hungry needs, and my own cooking talents (eep.), you can always find my recipes here, the updated versions of what I made, and hopefully a real life (not pinterest) picture of how it actually probably look

*As you research and plan your own clean eating lifestyle, USE PINTEREST! This is my life saver, especially on those nights where there isn't a lot of time. There are A TON of clean eating crock pot recipes, just plain clean eating food recipes, that include ingredients I already have in my cupboards. This makes meal prep that much easier and something I don't have to spend hours worrying about and preparing for!

SIDE DISHES

cook, recipe, kitchen, roasted vegetables, asaparagus, meal, side dishYou definitely need to try this  Roast Asparagus!
If you are looking for a side dish this is the perfect one. Jared and I love adding this with a half a baked potato and then a small side of meat. It fills that veggie requirement but it also fills you up fast! I usually add Olive oil over mine before I bake it. I've experimented with parmesan cheese as well. Tip: It's best if you bake it longer and it gets crunchier! I don't know if that zaps out the healthy part or not.

Baked Parmesan Zucchini Strips
Baked Parmesan Fries    - Jared and I LOVE to put these with a good salad and some chicken strips.
Slim Potato Casserole   - This recipe was easy and helped me feel like I was cheating but I was eating healthy! Jared loved this and the recipe made enough to last for a few extra days of sides. :)
SNACKS
Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips*   - Just made this because I needed a snack and it is the most delicious thing in the world - especially since it's 21 day fix approved!
Buffalo Chicken Dip* - an entire family friendly football fave <3 Jared LOVES this and it's a great quick snack!
